Microsoft Global Launch Wave - 27 February 2008

On 27 February 2008, Microsoft officially launched Windows Server 2008, Visual Studio 2008 and SQL Server 2008. This event was originally titled 'Global Launch Wave' and was re-branded as 'Heroes Happen Here'.

As a Microsoft certified partner, TriSys has had prior access to both Beta and RTM (release to manufacture) versions of this software and has been working to ensure compatibility with these new releases.

Windows Server 2008 - We are pleased to announce that the TriSys product portfolio is completely compatible with the Windows 2008 platform which will offer additional performance, virtualisation and accessibility features to the TriSys ASP offering in the coming months. TriSys customers running terminal services will benefit from the Vista themes and seamless windows for tighter integration with desktop applications and local printer drivers.

Visual Studio 2008 - We are pleased to announce that TriSys' .Net products have been recompiled using Visual Studio 2008 and the .Net framework 3.5. TriSys' component vendor partners are currently developing tools and utilities which will further strengthen products such as TriSys built on the Microsoft .Net platform and these will form an integral part of future TriSys versions.

SQL Server 2008 - We are pleased to announce that the TriSys product portfolio is completely compatible with the latest release of SQL Server which will offer additional performance features to TriSys when this product is finally released to manufacture. The current upgrade process from SQL Server 2005 to 2008 will ensure complete integrity of data, stored procedures, triggers, views and functions. In particular, the business analytics built into SQL Server 2008 will be fully utilised by the new TriSys dashboard technologies for business intelligence.
