Outlook 2003 provides a more reliable and easy to use e-mail management interface than previous versions of Office and takes full advantage of Exchange 2003. Outlook 2003 includes a new cached mode to increase reliability of connections, and improve performance and user productivity. The new Outlook 2003 cached mode can help increase the reliability and performance of connections, as well as productivity. The cached mode in Outlook 2003 downloads all necessary information to the TriSys ASP server as it comes in—so that network performance issues do not affect the TriSys ASP user.

With Outlook 2003 and the TriSys Exchange Server 2003 ASP e-mail server, TriSys ASP users can also access their e-mail server directly over the Internet. By installing Outlook 2003 on their local computers, Outlook 2003 can automatically connect to the TriSys ASP Exchange server over the Internet negating the need to login to TriSys ASP desktop. Synchronous point processing is also available during cached mode synchronization. If the connection is dropped and then re-established, the synchronization resumes where it left off instead of starting over. TriSys ASP users can then have a seamless connectivity experience.

Word 2003 is a graphical word processor. It is used to edit many types of documents and generates documents with a .doc extension. TriSys can read incoming CV's in Word format and extract (parse) key demographics such as telephone numbers, e-mail addresses, availability date, home address etc.. as part of the automated or manual CV Auto-Recognition process.

Excel 2003 is a spreadsheet. It is used to carry out analysis and manipulation of large amounts of numerical or financial data. All TriSys 7 reports or grids can be easily exported into Excel (subject to security constraints) for additional analysis and comparison. The export mechanism for the TriSys Back Office generates Excel Comma-Separated-Values (CSV) files which can be imported into any financial application such as a payroll or accounting system.

Front Page 2003 is a graphical web page designer. TriSys users can create and edit pages from TriSys Web without having to understand the complex underlying HTML code which drives the World Wide Web. Front Page is very similar to Word for editing web page documents. All e-mail templates in TriSys 7 are built using HTML and either TriSys' own built in template editor, or Front Page can be used to create and edit any template.

Powerpoint 2003 is a graphical presentation authoring tool. It is used to create slideshow presentations which can be further refined with background sound or voice overs. Powerpoint is provided within the TriSys ASP environment, and reporting information generated by TriSys can be easily imported into any Powerpoint presentation document as necessary.
